Can OOC or action log this, but I gathered Peter Parker was looking for a job; would he be willing to work for Emma?

I hope I'm not bothering you while you're on hiatus: I thought you were, but I don't see you listed and I did see an activity check.

I'm not on hiatus, just very busy! It's terrible; new school year starting up and all that.

Since Peter knows Emma's reformed in the current timeline, he''d have to check what year she was drawn in before making any solid agreement.

Emma is immediately post-Genosha. In her continuity in a few hours the X-Men will dig her out of the rubble and she'll accept an invitation to join (I think temporarily which became permanentlt?)

She wasn't caught (or indeed drawn on-screen at all other than educational) doing anything bad while working on Genosha, but that was while Magneto was dictator.

Basically she's running a custom jewelry business for anonymous jeweler(s) (no prizes for guessing who) and the network effect is running faster than she'd expected. She needs someone asap who can take calls during the day, operate computers including hologram creation software (she can show you if necessary - I'm sure Peter can catch on quickly), schedule evening appointments with anyone who wants pictures lifted straight out of their minds, and not lose his/her temper with completely unreasonable customers.

Peter's already living there, he's danger room cleared for if they need any *really* good holograms, he's smart, he's got loads of experience not losing his temper, and all that. Oh, and he's got loads of experience lying with a straight face. Emma wants him. (He's not ideal, but he's more than good enough and he's right here right now, and that's what she needs.) It's just whether he wants the job.

To clarify, she's post-Generation X, when Xavier put her in charge of some mutants who needed to be trained. So she's at least started to reform. Peter probably wouldn't have any way of knowing if she's been reformed all along, or if she reformed, backslid but didn't do anything too awful, and was given a third chance.
